The smell of good bread breaking, like the sound of lightly flowing water, is indescribable its evocation of innocence…

The power of gas. The control of electric. Dual-Fuel Professional Range

Professional ranges, if used properly, can make you think you’re dining at your favorite restaurant nightly. While they certainly look the part these pro-style ranges bring a level of control and precision not found outside of a commercial kitchen.

Chefs understand the importance of power, but they also know that power isn’t everything. How low can you go? Can your range hold a true simmer? Can you melt butter or chocolate directly on the range top? With professional ranges like these nothing escapes your grasp.

A duel fuel range gives you the power of gas burners and the control of an electric range.

May the Electromagnetic force be with you Induction Professional Range

Don’t have gas? Fear not, induction power is a preferred choice of today’s chef. Using magnets to create a magnetic field that interacts directly with your cookware, wasted energy in the form of excess heat is a thing of the past. Extremely energy efficient, they’ve long been a favorite of Europe due to their sky high energy prices. In Florida its tough to find a home that has gas. We love induction because you get the power and control of gas with out needing to install a tank.

Do you need “special” cookware, yes, but its more common than you’d think. Cast Iron is good to go as is most high end pots and pans, think All-Clad. But there is a surprising number of mid-tier cookware brands that are making their products induction friendly.  To see if your cookware can work with a professional induction range get a magnet and see if it sticks. If yes then you’re ready to go, if not we’ve got you covered there to. You may not need to buy new cookware, but you’ll need to come see us to learn the secret.

Calling All Bakers! All Gas Professional Range

Dual Fuel professional ranges have surpassed all gas ranges in terms of popularity but depending on how and what you cook a gas oven may give you significantly better results than electric.

Electric ovens tend to have a very dry heat, which is great for roasting meat or making things that are crispy.  Electric ovens can seem like they take forever to preheat but once they’ve arrived they’re able to better maintain their temperature which makes them the choice when you’re cooking foods that are sensitive to temperature fluctuations.

If you’re a baker then gas is the way to go. A gas oven gives you a more humid bake which is great for foods that tend to dry out quickly. They’re also great for dishes that are bathed in sauce or casseroles that can dry out like mac & cheese. Gas ovens also pre-heat much faster than their electric counterparts which is something that we love!

So the question isn’t which professional range option is best, the right question is what do you cook?
