Orlando Kitchen Remodel
Located in the Country Club of Orlando, this 1950’s French Country estate was a complete remodel that was taken down to the studs with over 2,000 sqft added to the home.
We partnered with Farina & Sons as the general contractor and Gribble & Associates as the Interior Designer to help create this amazing new home our focus was of course the kitchen remodel. We’ve been fortunate enough to work with this amazing duo several times over the course of many years and we’re honored with their continued trust.
The remodeled kitchen is massive featuring an open concept with double islands in a gorgeous stained black walnut complete with luxury Subzero & Wolf appliances. The pool area features a weather proof NatureKast outdoor kitchen complete with a high end grill along and an ever popular green egg. The only thing this outdoor kitchen is missing is an outdoor refridgerator or outdoor ice maker! We love NatureKast weatherproof cabinetry because it allows for fully protected and usable storage space in every cabinet. Other types of outdoor kitchen have an exposed floor and can be subject to water and dirt getting inside, either that or you only have storage access by very small access doors that really limit your outdoor storage.
The bar area is complimented by glass doors on the upper cabinets and the lower cabinets allowing for lots of storage.
While you’ll typically see “columns” with a cabinet overlay many don’t know that you’re also able to achieve a similar result with Subzero’s built-in series. It is definately more common to see the Subzero’s Built In series in stainless steel and this is a great example of some of the flexibility that the BI series offers as the homeowner opted to have an overlay panel with this built in 36″ Subzero refrigerator. The main difference between the two styles of overlay is with the built-in version you can still tell it’s a fridge due to the frame.
The Wolf sealed burner range top is also a great addition to the home. With 6 poweful burners acheiving up to 20,000 BTU all of the burners can achieve an extremely low simmer, even the most powerful 20,000 BTU bruner. With Wolf’s dual stack burner you can sear a steak and also gently melt butter. Read more about the features of Wolf here
The custom hood is really the the statement piece and focal point of this kitchen with its stunning black with gold trim.
The master bath remodel features an amazing centrally located shower completely with large his and her’s vanities. The bathroom remodel on this Orlando home is one of our favorites. It turned out simply amazing.
